We met on a blind date in December 2002.
Neither of us was very interested in going, but our mutual friends wanted
someone to go with them. We both have sassy attitudes and enjoyed giving each
other a hard time the whole night. At the end of the night, Doug boldly asked
Joyce for her phone number and asked if he could call her again, of course she
said he could. The rest is history. We were engaged in February of 2003, and
married in June 2003.

We have been married 9 years. Through
those years we have built a strong, solid relationship that is built on trust,
love, friendship, and encouragement. We are best friends and enjoy doing things
together.
